At this point , factors are already there. I would love tosee payrolls get closer between rich and poor with inflation, but the only other factor I like would be performance going forward.

I voted None of the Above, but I realize that given the parameters of the poll (i.e. it assumes that franchise matters), I would probably pick "how recently the team's stadium was built." That would give teams some kind of cyclical revenue boost/decline outside of performance without any franchise having a built-in permanent advantage. Better than any of the other options from that perspective.
