Procedural Quirk
« on: 29 Jul 2018 8:07:18 PM »
This is not a complaint, but rather recognition of something that seems to be a procedural quirk relating to roster management during the weekend.  Teams may trade players over the weekend's roster freeze (although doing so before the weekly results have been released is likely foolish), but can not waive a player during the same span.

It's not that the league needs to clarify the point, but the rationale of allowing the transaction apt to be the more significant in impact and disallow the other isn't that all logical to me.

If the EC would include this as a discussion point regarding procedures during the off season, perhaps at the same time as potential rule amendments
