Going to the Tennessee Smokies game tonight - Cubís AA affiliate. Iíll try to scout some of the more interesting names for everybody. Theyíre facing the Montgomery Biscuits. Oscar De La Cruz is scheduled to start, so Iím hoping to see him do well.

Sorry for the hang up guys.  Missed Kower and then my computer decided it didn't like me for the last hour.  I've turned my pick in through PM to the rest of the committee so it can be fixed.  Since Kower is gone I'll go a little different with this pick:

Jeremiah Jackson, 3B/SS, St. Luke's Episcopal HS Alabama - Los Angeles Angels Organization

Nice pick! He was one of the guys I was trading up for; if the story that getting glasses turned him around this spring is true, he could be a steal.

Dang! I almost took him with my first pick and thought he was going to make it all the way back around.

As an EC member in another league who's been accused of stealing a pick, automation and strict deadlines are wonderful.

This. The more stuff is taken out of the EC's hands, the better off we all are.

And being on the EC is a thankless job. So thank you, EC!  ;D

2018   2   18   Blue Jays (Orioles)   06/13/18 20:45   Seuly Matias, rf, KC Royals org.

'bout damned time. Top 12 or so on my draft list, far and away the best player left IMO. Terrific get at this point.

Yeah, seeing Matias still available prompted me to trade up. Tons of potential, but still a good chance heíll strike out too much to pan out. Still, Iím happy to have him.

He was under consideration at 2.16.  I just felt like I needed to go away from OF with what I already have on my reserves.

OK, so now I'm done until the late 4th round. I would appreciate it if people (Note: this means YOU, Chris) don't draft the players I want to take in the 4th and 5th rounds.

Thanks.

Until the Mets make their pick, I believe all subsequent picks will need to be made in the thread.  The Pirates are free to make their selection, but there is no "clock" at this time.
