Week 1 Posted
« on: 13 May 2018 8:00:10 PM »
We are off and running.  Thank you to everyone for being patient as we got started this season.  And, a big thank you to each GM who sent in an MP.  No issues for week 1 uploading MP's.  That is a first since I've been simming.

Week 2 deadline is Tuesday night, midnight!

Enjoy!!!

What a wild first 3 games of the 4/5-4/8 series with NYY.  I came out on the short end of all 3 but some great pitching duels! Then game 4 of the series blew up both staffs.

Glad to have an edge, narrow though it may be, after a week.

Not so glad that we already have 2 regulars hurt, however...

That opening week doesn't come close to matching my SIMs over the course of a season.  We will take the great start and not bother to notice the fool's good.

Home stand against the Dodgers with 3 straight shut outs. Fun times!

2 series wins and then swept by the Indians.  Dang man.  Mixed bag of results, so we'll take it and move forward!

When games end after 9 innings Pirates are 5-1. When we go beyond the 9th inning we are 0-3.
Clearly the key to success is get the dang thing over after 27 outs.

Good news for Reds, we had a three game winning streak, bad news lost rest.

Time to shake up rotation....

Wow...

I knew I wouldn't be a good hitting club...but, man..

I've had clunker teams the past few years that did better than this first week ..
