Call for Content
« on: 7 Feb 2018 12:35:03 PM »
Is there anyone (are there multiple anyones?) who is/are willing to put together some division previews this year after FA winds down and before the season kicks off?  I don't care if they are incredibly serious, utterly sarcastic, or witty and a good mix.  Just interested in seeing a bit of content if anyone has time to dig.

I'd love to try to do something if I have time. Kids ruin everything, though.

I'd be willing to do one of the AL divisions, but I cant commit to more than that.

Larry's note offers two key ideas:  1) (at least he infers) Having a "committee" tackling this task with individual member assignments limited to a single division; and 2) Having league division projections done by someone from the other league.

Like Larry, I'd be willing to tackle an American League division.

Awesome.  So, the AL is covered, and perhaps the NL has one division covered?  Are there two other AL GMs who'd be willing to do a post-FA preview of an NL division?  You all can get together (or not) and decide how serious you'd like them to be...it's just nice to see something other than "Royals JC" next to all the posts non-team-block-posts when I log on :)

Bumping this up as FA seems to have basically concluded and we have no date for the disk release.

We are in search of two AL GMs to team up with Shane to split the NL up or three AL GMs if kids have indeed ruined everything!

Thanks to Doug for sending out a few questions to the AL Central folks to remind me that this was a possibility this year!

Just as an FYI, I had one of life's little interruptions while compiling notes but that's essentially rectified, and I anticipate being finished with the AL Central synopsis no later than the end of the upcoming weekend.

I've often considered the AL Central to annually be among the more interesting groupings in DMBO, but have never looked quite this deeply.  They collectively deserve a "WOW"!!
