Fellow DMBO managers,

If I could have your attention please, I have a major announcement.

I HAVE A SON!!!!!!!!!!!!

Born on Wednesday, September 20th at 2:02 AM, my boy came into this world ready for action.  Both Momma and baby are doing great, though my sleep has surely suffered.

Thank you.  You may now return to your regularly scheduled broadcast.

Congratulations.  Take it all in, because you will forget most of it.  And when you say you will do something "after things slow down".... know that things will slow down after the kids are gone.  Maybe... but not before.

Blessings to you, Mom, and boy.

Congratulations.

Hope you enjoy being a parent.  Lots of work but worth it.

I disagree about things not slowing down until the kids are gone. Lots of things seem slower now. Getting out the door, getting through a meal, and so on. Plus your brain on perpetual sleep deprivation...

Nonetheless, it's totally worth it, at least to me. Congrats!

And many more interrupted nights of sleep to come in the future. Congrats to the Momma, and some to you as well.

My son will be heading off to college next year. Why am I thinking I'll also be having sleepless nights; but for very different reasons. HAHA.

Absolutely totally worth it.  Each stage of it so far.  We've advanced to the "competitive dance 4 to 6 days a week"... "coaching the 10U softball team".... "How in the world can we be in 3 places at the same time with only 2 cars/adults?"

But one good smile and a "daddy" from the 10 year old is all we need to refuel and keep going.  Great stuff.

Congratulations! Kids are fun! My oldest is 7, but I can't get him to play baseball. At least he likes going to games with me.

A belated congrats from here as well! I have a toddler boy and an infant boy. Yesterday, the 3 year old wanted to play baseball in the yard dressed as Captain America while calling himself Frankie Lindor. Indoctrinate them early!
