I like the O'Brien pick. I thought he might slip to me early in the 2nd round, but think it's a good pick for the Brewers.

Peter O'Brien is a mashers dream. He should be rated at Catcher still next year, making him very valuable in the short term. If he's a passable LF, he could be a very good pickup.

I reached a bit early on O'Brien, but he looks like big power potential, and I would love for him to get a 1B rating.  I didn't think he'd last to round 2, and my top 7 off the draft board were gone...

Pick would have been Adames had he not gone a pick before to the Reds.

Since the jerks in Oakland took Happ, the Rays go with Kevin Newman, SS out of Arizona.

Yup....he was very high up on our list at one point. Even as high as #2 about a month ago.

Now I can watch the rest of my list go before my next pick. O'Brien just the start. Lot of picks before round 2

Bah. I almost took him at #7 - wasn't going to let him get past me again. Ah, well...

You got someone just as good, whom I personally rank a bit higher than Lopez.  Honeywell has a better chance to stay in the rotation and he's been more dominant.  The raw stuff isn't quite as good but it's still -good-, you know?  I'd have taken Honeywell over Lopez there.

And... I think Honeywell is the only pitcher on the planet besides Fernando Valenzuela that features a screwball !
