I can not believe Harrell lasted this long. Now I have to look to see if there's something I missed.  :)

He got a crummy ZiPS projection; that's possibly the main reason he slipped.

So glad I'm not the only one who thought that.  I had just started to think he might slip to me!  Frustrated an AL Central foe picked him up :)

Ah!  Most of us don't know that.  :)

All he needs is one solid year in the majors and - problem solved! - he's a valuable commodity.

Didn't he just have that?   Or do you mean one more solid year?

Well, Castillo was the guy i really wanted, having no catcher... so after a long battle between two other players... I'll get my closer for the season.

Twins select: Brayan Villarreal, RHP, Tigers (list says White sox, I assume that's a mistake)

There's bunch of guys left that I would be happy with.  I'll go with the guy I believe has the best upside.

The Angels Select Hector Santiago, (LHP), White Sox Org.

Good pick... he was the other guy i was considering... I was torn on waiting for Santiago to hopefully reach his upside and be a solid middle to end of the rotation starter... or go for the instant roster filler with a good projection. In two years, if Santiago is thriving in a rotation, I might look back and wish I went the other way!

Nice pick... that is who I was actually going to take with the #2 Overall pick before I learned I had the #1 overall pick.

Projects REAL nice for 2013 right off the bat, and has closer potential.

Reds will go with their tradition of drafting to need and taking Jordan Pacheco.  May have hands of stone though.

This has been a weird draft for me. I figured I would get one of three relievers which is a postiion of need for me and one of those guys is there, but ....

A guy I have rated in my top five is there, even though he is not at a position of need. So who do I take, ..... neither

The Arizona Diamondbacks select Jordany Valdespin.

I can't pass a 25 year old who plays five positions and had 8 HR's and 10 SB's in 200 at bats. He is pretty much the perfect 25th guy for my roster. (I have to hope he matures though, he is a bit of a head case).
