Game 6, World Series

Not to scoop Tom, but game 6 of the World Series is up. Bring on game 7! Shields pitches well and the Jays offense keeps on hitting to force a deciding game. Alvarez takes the mound for the Jays.

Phelps is having a heck of a series, and didn't even start Game 6 (3 run homer.)

Robb,

Phelps was pretty quiet the first 4 games of the series. But a 3 HR game in game 5 and a pinch-hit HR in game 6 have definitely bumped his numbers way up. In his last 5 ABs, Phelps has 4 HRs and a single - pretty impressive. But I'm not picky - as long as the Jays have their third-straight 4 HR game in game 7 (the Jays hit 1 HR total in the first 4 games, and 8 in the last 2), I won't mind who hits them. :)

Just wondering if we are going to have any closure to the 2004 DMBO season?

It's been bad weather in sim-Houston, games keep getting rained out.

A draw is fine by me.

(Dodgers GM here...and such an ID is due to the fact I'm having difficulty staying logged in.)

My ballot is cast for showing a bit more patience.  Frankly, I don't know what circumstances are causing the delay in getting the final game of the DMBO posted, but realize the situation could be more serious than simulated play.

The 2004 simulation will be completed, and the off-season will begin.  Let's just keep our shirts on.

Tom's been buried, I've been buried, we've all been buried.

Sounds as if the sim wil take place Tuesday night, Wednesday night at the latest.  The playoffs have been a bit slow coming this year, but have been entertaining.  (Well, at least the World Series has been, moreso than the real one.)

Oh I'm sure that's a matter of perspective.

I know the truth - you guys are just trying to see if someone can actually die from anticipation. I can reassure you that it won't work, now that I'm highly medicated :)

Seriously, though, I can completely relate to being completely buried at work. Game 7 will happen when game 7 happens.
